Welcome to Oak Knoll School, the premier all-girls preschool through grade 12 institution in Summit, New Jersey. Our robust exchange programs include opportunities in Barcelona, Spain; East Sussex, England; and Pasadena, California. These experiences provide students with firsthand knowledge of different cultures and perspectives.

Our history of international travel enriches students’ academic and personal lives. From academic exchanges and performances to service projects in locations such as Appalachia, Australia, the Czech Republic, and Quebec, our students gain invaluable experiences that broaden their horizons. For our younger students in the Lower School, virtual interactions with Holy Child sister schools around the world lay a strong foundation for global understanding and connections.

Exciting Travel Opportunities

Students in grades 7-9 can embark on a unique three-year rotation of spring trips, exploring up to three different destinations during their time at Oak Knoll if they joined in seventh grade.

In tenth grade, students have the prestigious opportunity to participate in the Holy Child Exchange Program, choosing an exchange experience with our sister schools in Mayfield, UK, or Mayfield, CA.

Our language programs further enhance learning through specialized trips. Spanish students can visit Barcelona, Spain, to deepen their fluency and cultural understanding. Latin students have traveled to Italy, bringing classical studies to life, while French students have explored the rich culture of Quebec. For students in grades 9-12, various trips based on faculty recommendations and emerging opportunities offer additional chances to broaden cultural horizons and foster personal growth.
